Job Description

This 13-week travel assignment is designed for a Senior Behavioral Health Unit RN with recent experience caring for geriatric psychiatric patients in an acute care hospital setting. Working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., you will evaluate behavioral health needs, plan and document nursing care, administer medications and tests within your scope, assist with examinations and procedures, and help patients and families understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. BLS and at least one year of experience are required, along with current de-escalation experience through CPI or SAMA. SAMA training may be completed during daytime orientation if needed. This is a no-call, no-floating assignment with the option to request block scheduling—well suited for a night owl who brings calm expertise to behavioral health care.
