Job Description:

This travel assignment is designed for a peri-anesthesia nursing professional supporting patients before and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative assessments, IV access, airway and vital-sign monitoring, Aldrete scoring, pain and nausea management, medication administration, surgical-site observation, normothermia support, discharge education, and accurate electronic documentation. You will work closely with anesthesia and surgical teams while helping patients and caregivers understand recovery instructions and warning signs. The assignment offers a weekday mid-shift schedule with no call and may include caring for patients undergoing local procedures or conscious sedation when appropriately certified.

Weather:

Expect crisp mornings, generally mild afternoons, cool evenings, and a mix of clear skies and occasional rain. Comfortable layers and a light waterproof jacket are useful for exploring the area.

Shift: 12-hour mids, 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, Monday through Friday; no call
