Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is for a registered nurse providing overnight Mother-Baby and couplet care in Wilmington. The assignment includes postpartum care, Level II newborn assessments, breastfeeding support, discharge education, and care for pregnancy-related complications and neonatal abstinence syndrome. Responsibilities include IV therapy, medication administration, newborn screenings, phototherapy, thermoregulation, pain management, and support for vaginal and cesarean deliveries. The nurse will also float to appropriate areas within the Women’s & Children’s Division and work every other weekend. Navy blue matching scrubs are required.
