Job Description:

This travel contract is for an RN supporting a medical telemetry and intermediate care unit in Portland, Maine. Working 12-hour night shifts, you will care for patients with respiratory conditions, telemetry needs, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory failure, and other acute-on-chronic medical conditions. The assignment includes caring for patients requiring ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy maintenance, IV pumps, specialty beds, and other acute-care equipment. You will interpret telemetry strips, collaborate with the care team, document in Epic, and float to comparable intermediate care or medical-surgical units when needed. BLS, telemetry experience, tracheostomy experience, and ventilator experience for IMC assignments are required.
