Job Description:
Join a Labor and Delivery team in Wilmington, North Carolina, caring for high-risk antepartum and laboring patients on 12-hour night shifts. You will manage complex cases including preterm labor, preeclampsia, multiple gestations, placenta previa or abruption, premature rupture of membranes, and postpartum hemorrhage. Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, high-risk delivery support, circulating and recovering C-sections, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum and couplet care, medication and blood product administration, and management of specialized therapies such as magnesium and insulin drips. This assignment offers the opportunity to work across antepartum, labor and delivery, and mother-baby care in a regional Level III setting. Every third weekend is required, and floating to mother-baby may be expected.

Wrightsville Beach: Spend the day walking the shoreline, enjoying water views, or trying a local seafood restaurant.

Day Trip—Myrtle Beach: Head south for a full day of beaches, boardwalk entertainment, and coastal dining.
Day Trip—Outer Banks: Plan an extended coastal outing to explore beaches, lighthouses, and waterfront communities.
