Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract places you in a 21-bed Observation unit handling diverse patient cases such as CP, syncope, post-op OB-GYN, trauma, and more. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, gaining hands-on experience with procedures like Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes—skills tested in a pass/fail SIMs Lab. Expect to manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5, utilize Cerner EMR, and coordinate with RTs for vent support. The role demands strong MedSurg and Observation experience, excellent time management, and sterile technique proficiency. High staff turnover makes adaptability crucial—be prepared for orientation, floating across campus locations, and a rotation that includes weekends and holidays. Your contribution will be vital to maintaining smooth patient operations during this fast-paced assignment in Phoenix.
