Job Description:

Join our team for a travel assignment on a Cardiac Telemetry Medical Unit that specializes in caring for a wide range of cardiac and medical patients. This 42-bed unit focuses on monitoring and treating patients with chest pain, arrhythmias, shortness of breath, and other cardiac issues, while also managing conditions like pneumonia, GI problems, COPD, diabetes, and strokes. As a traveler, you’ll be floating to different units and hospitals as needed, providing patient-centered care that helps each individual recover and achieve their health goals. The role offers the opportunity to hone your skills in a fast-paced yet supportive environment, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional cardiac care in a collaborative setting. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, embracing a schedule that includes frequent holiday coverage and every other weekend shifts. This assignment is a unique chance to immerse yourself in a specialized cardiac setting while experiencing the vibrant community surrounding Tuscaloosa.
