Job Description:

This RN Telemetry assignment offers a compelling opportunity to work in a 27-bed medical unit with an additional 8-bed medical intermediate unit, averaging a census of 25-30 patients. The role involves providing specialized telemetry care to patients with diagnoses such as MI, CVA, CHF, and COPD, among others. You'll be handling procedures like IV insertions, chest tube placements, and central line insertions, all while managing continuous vasoactive drips such as Nitro and Cardene. The shift consists of 12-hour nights, providing a full weekend to unwind or explore nearby attractions. Unique to this assignment is its self-scheduling flexibility, allowing you to balance work demands with personal interests while working within a close-knit team that maintains an RN/LPN ratio of 1:5. This role is perfect for experienced telemetry nurses looking to deepen their clinical skills in a fast-paced, non-patient-care-focused environment that emphasizes critical procedures and diagnoses.
