Job Description:

This 10-week travel assignment at Longmont United Hospital offers a night shift experience in a busy LDRP unit. As part of the team, you will provide care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including circulating and recovering from C-sections. With a focus on fetal monitoring, triage, and labor support, you will work in a 12-bed LDRP setting with an adjacent C-section room. The schedule includes most weekends, with flexible shifts in a facility that sometimes accepts overflow mastectomy patients for short stays. Prior travel experience is a plus, and familiarity with Pitocin and Mag drips is helpful. Expect to participate in a unit that follows AWHONN guidelines, maintaining 1:1 ratios during labor and 1:2-3 for couples, with orientation supported by preceptor shifts. The hospital provides blue scrubs, and the unit has minimal call requirements, with rare standby situations. Floating may occur within Zone 3 only in extreme cases, ensuring a focused but adaptable work environment.
