Job Description:

Join a newly opening neuro stepdown unit as a registered nurse, where you'll be responsible for caring for patients recovering from ischemic or hemorrhagic strokes, post-craniotomy procedures, and neuro emergencies. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Magnet-recognized, Level I Trauma Center, with a focus on post-thrombolytic care. You'll be titrating vasoactive drips, managing ventilated patients, and handling specialized equipment such as Lumbar Drains and External Ventricular Devices. The position requires adaptability, as clinicians may float within the scope of the acute care division to meet patient needs. Experience with Epic charting is preferred but not mandatory. It's a great fit for nurses eager to experience a busy, progressive neuro environment and expand their expertise in neurological patient care.
