Job Description:

Join the team at Mercy Hospital Springfield as a registered nurse in the Step Down/PCU unit, where you'll manage a variety of cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and post-surgical patients during overnight shifts. This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity to work with advanced equipment like Philips monitors, chest tubes, and pacing wires, all within a facility recognized for its excellence in patient safety and care. Expect to perform assessment, planning, and coordination of patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and applying your expertise to monitor complicated medical conditions. The role also involves floating on a rotational basis to critical care or med/surg units, providing a well-rounded experience in a high-acuity setting that emphasizes teamwork and professionalism.
