Job Description:
Join a specialized Oncology Progressive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse, where you'll focus on high-acuity patient care for adult and pediatric oncology patients. This assignment involves managing complex cases such as solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic oncology. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts in a 36-bed telemetry unit with a prominent focus on infection prevention protocols and patient safety. Though pediatric experience isn't required, caring for small pediatric patients may occasionally come your way. Expect to interpret complex dysrhythmias, manage various infusion pumps, and utilize advanced telemetry systems during your shift. This role offers a unique opportunity to refine your oncology skills in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, all while enjoying the thrill of nocturnal nursing in a supportive setting.
