Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac telemetry nursing role where you'll oversee adult to geriatric patients with a focus on arrhythmia management, including rhythm monitoring and cardioversion. This 14-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a unit that handles overflow IMCU patients, many with complex cardiac conditions such as CHF, post-cardiac catheterizations, and vascular surgeries. You'll manage cardiac drips like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Dobutamine, alongside diuretics and anticoagulants, ensuring continuous IV medication administration with minimal supervision. This assignment offers a chance to delve into cardiac-specific procedures and patient stability, with a manageable ratio of about 1 patient to every 5-6 staff, within a 32-bed unit. Expect occasional floating within the facility and rare call responses, all within a supportive team environment. You’ll work in an environment that emphasizes precise medication management and rhythm interpretation, gaining invaluable experience in a focused cardiac care setting.
