Job Description:

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for experienced Case Managers to lead the coordination of inpatient care during 8-hour daytime shifts. You'll be guiding complex pediatric patients through the discharge process, ensuring timely and appropriate transitions while collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, and social workers. Expect to review clinical data, utilize evidence-based guidelines like Milliman and Interqual, and participate in daily interdisciplinary rounds. Success in this role depends on your ability to manage multiple cases—up to ten or more—and to navigate regulatory and payer requirements effectively. This assignment combines leadership with hands-on management, providing a rewarding challenge in a busy pediatric setting.
