Job Description:

Join a busy PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) as a traveling RN, where you will be responsible for providing specialized recovery care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures. In this role, you'll work with both pediatric and adult patients, supporting their transition from anesthesia to recovery, and will be prepared to float to pediatric PACU as needed. The assignment involves a unique blend of high-volume surgical cases across multiple specialties, utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts and bladder scanners. You'll be part of a team caring for patients in pre-op and Phase I and Phase II recovery, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Emergency team assignments may be required, with specific pay impacts communicated during events—your flexibility and comfort with such roles are essential.
