Job Description:

Join Jackson Purchase Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on a medical-surgical unit, providing care to patients of all ages. This contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour days in a facility known for its comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including a birthing center, wound care, and chest pain program. You'll be handling a variety of cases, from COPD and post-op joints to diabetic management, with a patient ratio up to 1:6 assisted by PCA staff. The role involves floating to like units as needed, and daily responsibilities include monitoring, administering treatments, and supporting patient recovery in a private room setting. This assignment lets you experience working in a community-oriented hospital that has been serving the region since 1993, with weekly orientation to ensure you’re well-prepared and compliant with all certification requirements.

Hourly Rate: $46.80
Start Week: Weekly orientation on Mondays, with all certifications required prior to start including ACLS, BLS, and HWC. Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status.
