Job Description:

Join Central Maine Hospital in Lewiston, ME, for a rewarding ICU RN contract that offers 12-hour day shifts. This role places you in a 190-bed facility with a Level III Trauma designation, providing critical care for diverse patient populations including geriatric, adult, and pediatric cases. You'll work in a well-equipped ICU with ceiling lifts, Hoyer lifts, and advanced IV infusion pumps, managing patients with conditions such as sepsis, trauma, neuro injuries, and complicated surgeries. The assignment offers a unique chance to experience a teaching hospital environment, with opportunities to collaborate across units like CICU, MS, Tele, and ER if needed. Expect a schedule of 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours and some weekend shifts, all within an atmosphere that values flexibility and clinical excellence.
