Job Description:

This ICU RN contract positions you at a reputable Level II Trauma Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, where you'll dive into a diverse mix of complex critical care cases. Expect to manage patients with conditions such as ARDS, MI, CVA, trauma, and post-surgical complications, often requiring vigilant monitoring and rapid intervention. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 48 hours per week over a 13-week period. You'll be part of a skilled team providing care in a 39-bed ICU, which includes specialized units like MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU. Your expertise in ventilator management, hemodynamic lines, IV medications, proning techniques, and familiarity with advanced equipment like Impella and CRRT will be essential. Daily activities will include performing complex assessments, administering critical medications, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This assignment offers a unique chance to enhance your critical care skills while working in a supportive, magnet-designated teaching hospital environment.
