Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract in Gillette, Wyoming, providing vital support in a busy ICU setting with 11 beds, including ICU and Tele units. You'll be caring for a diverse patient population, from ventilated post-cardiac patients to those experiencing COPD, sepsis, trauma, and limited neuro cases. This role requires hands-on expertise with equipment like ventilators, Bipaps, Swan monitors, IV pumps, and bedside verification systems, all while working 12-hour rotating shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of ICU experience, familiar with EKG reading and caring for both adult and occasional pediatric patients, with minimal peds involvement. Expect a professional yet welcoming environment where shared knowledge and teamwork thrive, supported by hospitalists, lab techs, radiology, and 24-hour eICU support. Note that this assignment is playfully referred to as an ‘ICU adventure,’ where your skills keep the unit running smoothly and patients safe.
