Job Description:

Join a busy Southern Arizona hospital as a NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract focused on night shifts. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) in a Level III-IV NICU, caring for infants six months and younger. The role involves managing a patient ratio of 1:3, with occasional float assignments to PEDS and PICU units, primarily providing assessments, vitals, and labs on well newborns. This assignment offers an opportunity to experience a high-volume delivery environment with neonatal transport team support. NICU experience of at least two years and proficiency in EPIC, BLS, and NRP are required. No first-time travelers or locals within 75 miles are preferred, and there is no call required. The orientation is held twice monthly on June 8 and 22, with a chance to contribute to a hospital that values skilled, dedicated NICU nurses.
