Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU RN in a bustling Level I Trauma Center where you'll manage complex postoperative patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures, including GU, GYN, colorectal, minimally invasive surgeries, bariatric, and some ENT cases. You will be responsible for overseeing patients with multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and anesthesia recovery, often managing several high-acuity cases simultaneously. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that demands proficient critical care skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Night shift coverage means you'll be the key to smooth post-surgical recoveries, with an expectation to assist in pre-op areas for first cases when no patients are in the PACU. Your expertise will help ensure patient stability while navigating the intricacies of post-anesthesia care.
