Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position offers a unique chance to be part of a responsive team, often called into action during emergency events. You'll be working in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care setting, providing crucial care as part of the relief or emergency team when needed. Expect to handle a variety of cases, adapt swiftly to changing situations, and work nearly full-time hours over the course of a 13-week contract. The role involves managing patients recovering from surgery, closely monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure smooth recoveries. It's an engaging role for those confident in their PACU skills and familiar with Epic, with the flexibility of block scheduling options like 4x10s or 3x12s, and shifts starting at 8:00 am, lasting 8 hours each day.
