Job Description:

This PCU Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work in a true ICU stepdown environment specializing in cardiac, telemetry, and medical care. You'll be caring for patients with complex conditions such as cardiac rhythms, vasoactive drips, and ventilator support like BiPAP and high-flow oxygen. The role involves managing cardiac and vasoactive medications, starting IVs, and possibly assisting with procedures like cardiac caths. Expect to float within your scope to meet the unit’s needs, and enjoy shifts that include nights with 12-hour coverage. The unit is known for its focus on heart-related cases and ICU-level patient management, providing a challenging but rewarding experience for those ready to apply their expertise in a fast-paced setting.
