Job Description:

Join Ottumwa Regional Health Center as a Registered Nurse in the PACU on a 13-week contract, working 10-hour days on the second floor. This role involves managing post-anesthesia patients in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for patient assessments, monitoring recovery, and ensuring safe transitions from anesthesia, all while collaborating with a dedicated team. The assignment offers a chance to experience a well-rounded surgical recovery unit in a community-focused setting, with the flexibility of self-scheduling your call shifts. If you're comfortable with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and meet the experience criteria, this is a rewarding opportunity to apply your skills in a supportive cardiac and general surgical environment.
