Job Description:

Join a respected medical-surgical unit at a well-equipped hospital located in Concord, North Carolina, for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Medical/Surgical RN on night shift, you will be responsible for caring for adult patients with chronic diseases, heart failure, mental health concerns, addiction issues requiring IV antibiotics, COPD, diabetes, wounds, and geriatric conditions. The role involves interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing non-titrating cardiac infusions, wound care, IV starts, and collaborating with a supportive team of nurses, CNAs, and supervisors. This assignment offers a chance to experience a facility with advanced technology like EPIC EMR, tele-medicine capabilities, and equipment such as vein finders and GBS machines, set within a community-focused hospital recognizing excellence as a stroke, bariatric, and chest pain center. Expect to work 36 hours weekly, primarily during 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities for floating within the region to various facilities to expand your experience.
