Job Description:

This NICU Registered Nurse role offers a focused opportunity in a high-acuity neonatology unit, where you'll be providing specialized care for premature infants and surgical neonates. The 12-hour night shifts, running from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, position you for hands-on involvement with advanced procedures such as Therapeutic Hypothermia, Nitric Oxide therapy, and ventilator management using Servo Vents, Baby Leo, and Giraffe beds. You will work in a self-scheduling environment and support a team that handles infants up to 12 months old, including those with complex diagnoses like hypoxic injuries, surgical needs, and low birth weight as early as 22 weeks. Strictly no RTO after booking and no onsite RTO permissible, emphasizing stability for your assignment. Three years of NICU experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU is required, with favorable inclusion of first-time travelers and local candidates. The unit maintains ratios of 1:2-4 patients, offering an intensive, yet rewarding, neonatal intensive care experience.
