Job Description:

Join a 152-bed Level II Children's Hospital with a dedicated Level IV NICU, providing a stimulating environment for experienced NICU nurses. This 13-week contract offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, with the opportunity to care for premature infants as early as 22 weeks gestation, as well as high-risk deliveries, surgical patients, and those with conditions like RDS and NAS. The role involves managing respiratory support equipment such as vents, trachs, and UAC/UVC lines, administering medications, and developing care plans tailored to vulnerable newborns. Occasionally, you may be asked to float to the emergency room to act as a sitter—adding variety to your routine. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy a fast-paced maternity/neonatal environment and want to make a difference in the tiniest patients’ lives without the constant patient care burden.
