Job Description:

This 13-week assignment as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment supporting high-risk pregnancies and newborn care. You'll be responsible for circulating during deliveries, monitoring electronic fetal data, and providing immediate newborn assessments, including eye exams, vitamin K injections, and care for infants receiving treatments like magnesium sulfate and insulin. The shift is scheduled for 12-hour nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with work every other weekend and holiday coverage. Expect to float between postpartum, antepartum, and potentially to sister facilities supporting Mother/Baby units. Experience in high-risk obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring is essential, and you will serve as a Baby Nurse during deliveries and subsequent newborn care until transfer to postpartum. This role is ideal for seasoned RNs with 3 or more years of high-risk labor and delivery experience, including supervisory references and current certifications.
