Job Description:

This ER nursing position offers a fast-paced environment where you'll provide direct patient care to a diverse mix of cases, including trauma, chest pain, pediatric respiratory illnesses, and geriatric mental health conditions. The role involves floating between two nearby campuses, Bryan and College Station, ensuring a variety of experiences. Expect to manage a range of patient acuities with flexible nurse-to-patient ratios, and perform responsibilities such as administering common drips, assisting with trauma procedures, and monitoring telehealth systems. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent ER experience in a high-volume facility and hold current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS. This assignment is unique in its team-oriented culture and shared governance, emphasizing collaboration and staff input.
