Job Description:

Join our cardiac telemetry unit in Salisbury for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, providing care for a busy, high-acuity cardiac and stroke patient population. The role involves managing stable pre- and post-procedure cardiac patients, including those with pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and post-interventional care. Expect to run multiple drips like Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone, and be comfortable with rapid turnover in a fast-paced environment. This assignment requires skills in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and titrating cardiac medications, with certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH. Initial hospital orientation is mandatory, and daily availability during week one is expected for onboarding. Surge capacity and float requirements mean you'll adapt to changing unit needs, with support from a team lead to assist with admissions and discharges. No block scheduling; self-scheduling is in place to maintain flexibility. Be prepared for a high-energy setting where efficiency and adaptability are key.
