Job Description:

Join our team in Wilmington, NC, as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract. This role involves providing direct care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting, primarily during 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You'll be part of an Inclement Weather Team, preparing for and working through storm or disaster events, with responsibilities including managing Heparin drips, wound vacs, dressing changes, and high-flow oxygen. EPIC experience and managing insulin and heparin drips are essential. This assignment offers a chance to work in a high-paced environment where teamwork during emergencies is key. RTO is limited to 7 days, and the role requires flexibility for holiday shifts and potential COVID patient care, with some float to similar units. The position promises a varied and rewarding experience in a busy medical-surgical floor.
