Job Description:

This 13-week assignment in a Level 4 NICU offers a hands-on opportunity to work independently in neonatal intensive care, supporting a range from feeder growers to highly complex ICU neonatal patients. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a focus on managing patient acuity levels of 1:2 to 1:4. As a NICU nurse, you'll perform routine and complex assessments, administer medications, document patient progress, and provide education to families. Expect to work with experienced care teams and support neonatal patients requiring specialized neonatal stabilization and ongoing care. This unique setting allows you to develop advanced skills in neonatal nursing in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
