Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you in the NICU at a busy hospital setting, working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. You will be responsible for managing a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that handles both neonatal and adult patients, with patient census ranging from 3 to 24. Your role involves triaging obstetrical patients, using external fetal heart monitoring, managing postpartum and postpartum care, and assisting with deliveries and C-sections. You’ll administer antihypertensives, insulin drips, and perform newborn assessments, all while keeping your energy up during quiet or bustling nights. It’s a chance for experienced NICU RNs to showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment that combines both technical precision and patient management without direct patient care duties outside of the NICU setting.
