Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel assignment as an MS RN working 12-hour nights in Evansville, Indiana. This role focuses on Med/Surg practice with a wide range of post-surgical and acute needs, including UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall-risk care. You’ll work a float schedule within and between nearby campuses as needed, with mid-shift floats possible and cross-campus notice provided when required.

Your typical schedule is 12 hours on nights (6:30–7 start/end window), with guaranteed hours of 36 per week (48 hours may be available by request). The unit operates with a steady rhythm: three weekends out of every six-week schedule and every other holiday. You’ll use EPIC for charting (including required checkoff training) and bring experience handling a tele/remote monitoring workflow and advanced equipment such as chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight cath/Foleys, ostomies, heparin drips, blood and blood product administration, and tracheostomy care—along with PCA management.

This teaching hospital may require precepting of students and new hires, so you’ll be valued for your clinical judgment, resilience, and ability to manage change while keeping care organized and consistent across shifts. (AHA BLS and NIHSS required; active compact license required.)
