Job Description:

Step into a travel nursing assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico, supporting a Swing Bed unit with a blend of Rehab and Med/Surg responsibilities. This role is designed for an experienced Registered Nurse who can float within scope of practice and clinical competency as needed, while also being ready for call that can vary based on unit needs.

Expect a day shift schedule with a 12-hour day structure (6:30a–7p), working approximately 36 hours per week for a 13-week contract. The work focuses on general skilled nursing (SNF) level duties in a 15-bed setting, using MedHost as the electronic medical record system. You’ll coordinate within the unit workflow, follow appropriate scheduling and floating expectations, and stay prepared for occasional call tied to census flex coverage prior to the start of your scheduled shift if census is low.
