Job Description:

Join a travel case management team supporting discharge planning and case management assessments within a step-down setting in Wichita, Kansas. This RN Case Manager role follows an 8A–4:30P day schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required. You’ll work across the CPCU (cardiac step-down) and PCU (medical step-down) units, where your day is shaped by a steady flow of planning needs, collaboration with providers, and coordination of next steps for patients moving from the hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of current acute care case management RN experience, holds active Kansas licensure, and brings familiarity with Meditech and Midas. Experience with Midas and HCA case management is preferred. CPCU supports cardiac step-down cases such as CABG and TAVR patient journeys, while many discharges include cardiac rehab planning; PCU includes a wider variety of step-down patient needs. Expect a fast-paced, constantly evolving workflow where the team is welcoming and actively supports new travel staff.

Expect generally mild days with a mix of sunshine and passing clouds, along with occasional breezy conditions. Humidity can vary, and short swings in temperature are common.
