Job Description:

Step into a travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse role providing holiday coverage in Battle Creek, Michigan. This assignment is designed for an experienced RN who enjoys variety—because you’ll float to other Med/Surg units based on staffing needs, not just stay in one routine workflow. The work centers on a mixed Med/Surg population with specialties including gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgical cases, along with a broader mix that may include ortho/neurovascular and cardio/pulmonary patients.

Shift structure is day-focused: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30) with every-other-weekend scheduling. Coverage requires flexibility during holidays—any time off requests for holidays must remain adjustable to meet staffing demands. You should be prepared to collaborate with a variety of team roles (RN, LPN, and techs) and to support staffing needs across Med/Surg as required. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
