Job Description:

Step into an Emergency Department travel healthcare contract in Asheville, North Carolina, where fast-paced does not mean chaotic. You’ll work 12-hour nights while supporting a high-volume ED that serves as a regional referral center, including a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. In this assignment, you’ll rotate through ED sections as needed within the department, staying ready for what each shift brings—from triage flow to ongoing documentation in Cerner.

You’ll be part of a team that emphasizes real-time coaching and feedback, with a teamwork-first approach and expectations around respectful patient experience behaviors, AIDET, and keeping boards updated throughout the visit. The unit is supported by techs and clerks (with activity in cardiac monitoring and internal processing areas), and you’ll use equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors. This role is a strong fit for an experienced Emergency healthcare professional who’s flexible across ED areas and ready to contribute to a welcoming, collaborative culture.
