Job Description:

Step into a travel contract as a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for coordinating care for a group of patients during a designated shift. You’ll use the nursing process to develop and prescribe nursing care that aligns with the medical plan, incorporating input from patients and their significant others. Working closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team, you’ll help ensure care is delivered smoothly for patients across the lifespan (depending on the assigned unit), including neonatal, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

In this role, you’ll also build teaching and discharge planning into your day-to-day work, so patients and families know what to expect and how to move forward. You will delegate components of care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and scope of practice, supporting safe, organized teamwork throughout the shift. This assignment is represented by CNA.
