Job Description:

Step into a Travel RN Emergency Department contract in Bridgton, Maine—where 24/7 emergency services meet the pace and variety of a critical access facility. In this role, you’ll help evaluate and triage an acute emergency population, manage urgent presentations, and support stabilization and transfer for trauma, STEMI, stroke, and code-level events.

Expect to work 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours per week for 13 weeks, with the flexibility to cover days, mids, and nights as shift schedules shift to meet unit needs. You’ll use Cerner and communicate through SBAR, while caring for patients requiring interventions such as dysrhythmia management, initiation of IVs, blood product administration, procedural sedation, and use of IV vasopressors and continuous IV sedation. The ED experience you bring matters—especially with ortho-trauma, head injury, isolation precautions, and the workflow required to move quickly and safely when it counts.

Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH (CPI/NRP preferred, not required). A minimum of 2+ years of ED experience is expected, and float flexibility is required within the department.
