Job Description:

Work a fast-paced Emergency Department as an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) on a 13-week travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin. You’ll be part of a Trauma Level II setting where care needs move quickly and organization matters—your days may include supporting stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases while using Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication access. RNs handle key bedside workflows, including drawing labs and providing neb treatments, with additional support from in-house resources.

This assignment runs on 12-hour night shifts with variable start times (with a majority of shifts such as 0500-1700, 0900-2100, 1000-2200, and 1100-2300), and occasional flex to 1400-0200 or 1700-0500. On top of that, you may float to nearby locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley. Every other weekend and every other holiday rounds out the schedule.
