Job Description:

Join a Level 2 trauma Medical-Surgical ICU where every shift centers on high-acuity neuro and critical care needs. This travel role operates on 12 hour nights with 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week contract, providing a steady schedule and clear expectations. You’ll float between Med-Surg ICU and Neuro ICU, and may occasionally be asked to support other critical care or inpatient units based on staffing.

Day-to-day work includes stroke care, cerebral monitoring and drains, vents, drips, chest tubes, spinal drains, JP management, and occasional CRRT patients. You’ll be supported by CNAs and LPNs, and collaborate with clinical leadership that is staffed continuously on the unit, including a night shift approach when a shift leader is available to take patients as needed. Expect a typical primary RN ratio of 2:1, plus weekend/holiday rotation every other weekend.
