Job Description:

Join a Critical Care Float Pool as an ICU Registered Nurse (Critical Care Float Pool RN) for weekend night shifts in Columbus, Ohio. This role is built for nurses who enjoy variety: you’ll float across multiple ICU settings based on staffing needs and acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU areas.

The schedule follows 12-hour nights (3x12s), covering 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage plus an additional shift during the week as needed. You’ll be expected to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity, bringing ICU experience to each assignment and helping teams meet demand across different critical care specialties.

What you’ll bring: a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and proficiency with EPIC. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. You’ll also use skills such as IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management during your assignments.

This is a traveler-friendly opportunity—previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred—focused on flexible weekend critical care coverage.
