Job Description:

Step into a night shift role as a Registered Nurse with responsibility for a group of patients on a designated unit. In this travel healthcare contract, you’ll use the nursing process to develop and implement care that aligns with the established medical plan of care, incorporating input from patients and significant others. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team to coordinate care across assigned patient populations, supporting patients of any age depending on unit assignment.

You’ll also bring teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan, ensuring patients and families have the information they need as care transitions. Delegation is part of the work, with tasks assigned to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice. If you enjoy being the accountable go-to during your shift—steady, focused, and ready to lead through the night—this assignment is built for you.

Weather:

Expect generally mild conditions with cool evenings and comfortably warm daytime temperatures. You’ll likely see low humidity and plenty of dry, clear stretches, making it easy to get outside between shifts.
