Job Description:

Join a Medical Surgical/Telemetry environment supporting adult pre and post solid organ transplant patients on a 36-bed unit. This travel Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) contract runs on 12-hour nights and includes a 36 or 48-hour per week option. You’ll start on the unit, but travelers are first to float—so be ready to move frequently within scope based on staffing needs, which may include multiple nearby campuses and additional designated areas.

Work includes telemetry-focused care and progressive unit workflow where drips are required on all floors. Epic charting experience is required, and you’ll be expected to manage the rigors of a large, urban academic medical setting where steady execution matters. Weekends are part of the schedule, with 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible during a 4-week period (nights include Friday and Saturday evenings).

Requirements include 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital, plus BLS and ACLS. NIH and CPI are preferred. Scrubs are mandatory (Steele gray with the Nebraska Medicine logo), and the facility is 100% nicotine free.

A small degree of playfulness is welcome—just keep it professional as you bring your skills to a high-velocity MS/Tele team where your ability to float matters.
