Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced PACU Registered Nurse travel role in New Orleans, where your night shift focuses on supporting patients through pre-op and Phase I/Phase II recovery across a wide range of surgical and procedural services. You’ll work with both pediatric and adult populations and may float to pediatric PACU as needed. This assignment covers regional anesthesia and includes care settings tied to a total of multiple OR areas across two floors, with high pediatric volume on the first floor and additional procedure services on the second floor.

Shifts are 12 hours on nights (18:45 - 07:15), with flexibility for weekend coverage. You’ll also be part of the unit’s coverage plan that may include assignment to an “Emergency Team,” which can require staying on-site through an event or joining the relief team—details on event-specific pay are provided when impacts vary. If you accept this contract, you agree to report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs.
