Job Description:

Join our PACU/Endoscopy team as a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting procedural and recovery workflows with an emphasis on sedation readiness. This travel contract is tailored for an experienced RN who is comfortable operating across all three areas—intake, sedation, and post-procedure—and who can confidently interpret and manage dysrhythmias as part of the daily work. You’ll be working in a focused, fast-moving setting where Relias testing is required, Epic documentation is in place, and hard calendar cutoffs may apply.

Shift structure is 4x10 days with a day schedule from 0830–1900 (0730–1800 if needed, with notification). Expect 1–2 weekend/holiday call shifts per month, plus occasional call scheduling needs. CRNAs are available for patients requiring MAC sedation, while your role remains grounded in acute procedural support and recovery area coordination (including float within endoscopy procedural and pre/post areas).

Requirements include at least 2 years of acute hospital experience (ICU background preferred) and sedation exposure—conscious or procedural sedation experience is required, with conscious sedation certification strongly preferred. Current ACLS and BLS are required. Local candidates are accepted, and compact licensure is accepted.

Expect mild, often overcast conditions with a mix of light rain and dry spells—great walking weather with layers recommended.
