Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you’ll support high-risk, high-volume deliveries with hands-on responsibilities that include circulating duties and newborn care as the “Baby Nurse” during delivery—continuing care of the newborn until transfer to post-partum. The schedule is nights, working four 12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30), with every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as needed. You’ll use Epic and focus on electronic fetal monitoring while caring for patients supported by high acuity workflows, including use of specialty medications and support for complex OB needs.

This assignment is built around real, delivery-focused work: circulating for procedures, providing required newborn care (including eyes and Vit K injection), performing newborn assessments, and supporting postpartum-related continuity until transfer. If you’re comfortable moving quickly through high-demand labor and delivery flow and have the experience to thrive in a high-risk environment, this contract is a strong match.
