Job Description:

Step into a travel contract as a Respiratory Therapist supporting inpatient, critical care workflows in Boston, Massachusetts. This role runs on a 12-hour PM schedule with a 36-hour workweek and includes EOW/EOH coverage. You’ll apply your clinical expertise to drive lung-protective ventilation strategies, make ventilator decisions using patient assessment and laboratory results, and participate on the Code Blue team.

This assignment is designed for experienced RTs with 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility, including critical care experience in both MICU and SICU. You should be ready to work with EPIC, and familiarity with Drager XL and v500 ventilators is preferred. NPS and/or ACCS are preferred, with readiness to cover high-acuity situations as part of the team’s inpatient responsibilities.

Weather:

Expect cool, changeable weather with a mix of crisp days and occasional breezy rain. Comfortable layers are a good fit for outdoor time between shifts.
