Job Description:

Join a Lower Keys Labor & Delivery travel contract as a Registered Nurse with experience across L&D postpartum and nursery/mother-baby workflows. This 12-week assignment is based in Key West, Florida, with a day shift schedule of 7a–7p (12-hour days), totaling 36 hours per week. You’ll be responsible for providing shift accountability throughout the obstetrical care phases—antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal—using the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. Expect to bring strong clinical judgment and leadership to anticipate care needs, maintain competencies, and delegate and direct assigned personnel as patient care priorities evolve. The role also supports flexibility: floating to other units may be required to meet facility needs.

Required credentials include ACLS, BLS, and NRP. PALS is preferred and may be procured within 30 days of start if needed. AWHONN is preferred and may be completed onsite. Candidates must be comfortable with the expected scheduling approach, as blocked scheduling requests cannot be accommodated.
